Wrap around labels literally wrap around the bottle and are secured with hot melt glue. Plastic film labels have in many cases replaced paper for reasons of:

• Reduced weight & thickness
• Higher strength
• Moisture exposure does not affect strength or cause mould growth
• High definition graphics
• "No look", opaque, white, & matt appearances available

Wrap around labels may be applied from the reel or from "cut & stack". Existing "cut & stack" paper label applicators may apply label film labels.
