High volumes may be wrapped with pack speeds up to 120 packs per minute with BVM automatic shrink wrap machinery. The BVM Compacta 5022 wraps CD's in jewel cases into 10's at a rate of 15 cycles per minute.

Collation:
Multiples of CD, DVD & video may be automatically collated with CD hoppers prior to the shrink wrap machine. The demonstration features five CD hoppers loading a conveyer with CD's in pairs to build a stack of ten.

Opening features:
Consumers complaints about difficulties of opening shrink wrap packs may be alleviated where commercially viable by use of Sealstrip easy open features. A printed tab applied to the film opens the shrink wrap pack in one pull. This may also be used for branding.
